Wow... 9 months on and I'm just starting to dip my toes back in with the hobby. Still not sure if it'll hold or if it's going to be a flash in the pan.
I won't bore you with everything I've been up to rather just show you a wip pic of one of the wolf wing I started painting.
Total 4hrs painting so far. I'm quite pleased with him so far, but I think the sculpt is helping the painting along.
C&C welcome as usual

Very nice work! I agree, a good sculpt encourages you to take greater care painting, and also makes it easier but that's a smashing job - especially the flesh and hair!
About time you came back towards the light!
Welcome back, nice job so far.
Keep it up
Looking really lovely. Can't wait to see him with some of the detail filled in to contrast the armour as its promising to be a beautiful paintjob.
Keep at it.
Good lord! next thing Mart will be back for a minute or two!
Termies are even nastier now than before, you won't be popular lol.
Give us a shout when you are ready!
Thanks for the responses everyone!
Since these 4hrs I've spent another 1hr painting his right knee pad and I've still not finished it. I aim to get back to the hobby bench tonight and keep going. I can already feel the draw of other things already (the Walking Dead Season 3 being one of them).
I'm going to persevere though.
And it's unlikely Mart will return and if he does it will be a long time away!
@Vanguard - once I'm sorted I'll give you a bell. Just stupidly chocka block at work and I've not finished building the force yet... I just knew painting might be the thing to get me back on the wagon though.
